Privacy approach
A private journal should earn your trust.
Forever Here is designed to minimize access to intimate information and keep meaningful controls understandable. This overview describes the product’s approach; it is not a substitute for the full legal privacy notice that should accompany production launch.
Private by default
Your journal, recordings, photographs, reflections, and legacy plans begin private. Access controls are designed around the signed-in owner.
AI stays under your control
AI processing is optional. You can review the consent choice, turn future processing off, and distinguish your original words from generated reflections.
Evidence stays visible
Grounded answers show dated sources from your own archive. Inferred people, places, and themes can be corrected or removed.
You can take it with you—or remove it
Settings include entry-level deletion, removal of associated files and derived data, archive export, and an account deletion request.
Plain-language boundaries
Forever Here does not describe this service as end-to-end encrypted, a medical or therapeutic service, or a legally sufficient inheritance tool.
The first release does not automatically verify death or send legacy material to a recipient. Any future sharing flow will require deliberate user direction.
Photographs are not sent to an AI vision model unless a separate, explicit consent choice is introduced and accepted.
